Dr Dre was originally part of his own label Ruthless Records with Eazy-E but wanted to quit - Suge Knight threatened Eazy-E with leadpipes and baseball bats in order to secure Dre's release
he threatened to throw Vanilla Ice off a 15 storey balcony unless he signed the rights to 'Ice Ice Baby' over to him
he offered to pay a hefty bail for Tupac in 1995 if he agreed to sign for Death Row
he was the driver of the car in which Tupac was killed
allegedly, he is one of the main suspects implicated in the murder of Biggie Smalls
in 1997 he was sentenced to 9 years prison for parole violation. In 2003, 2 years after he was released, he was sent back to jail for punching a parking attendent. In 2008 he was arrested for beating his girlfriend, but never went to jail as his girlfriend went missing
