- deliver newspapers
- sell golfballs and stamps
- detail cars
in highschool, to make money he:
- purchased old pinball machines and sold them to barber shops
- invested in a business owned by his father
- bought a farm worked by a tenant farmer
he had accumulated $90,000 (in 2010 dollars) by the time he finished college
he worked as an investment salesman and securities analyst for various companies until he became the chairman of berkshire hathaway
